Exactly who sees your quote request

This page sits behind every form on the site. In short: your request stays with us until you agree, by name, to the installer we suggest.

Which installers receive your details?

Only the installer you've agreed to by name. When you send a request, we look at the installers we work with in your borough. We then contact you with the installer's name and what they do, and ask if you're happy for them to have your details.

Say yes, and we send your request to that installer only.
Say no, and nothing is shared. If we work with another installer in your area, we'll tell you who, and ask again.
If we don't have an installer for your area yet, your request stays with us until we do. We'll ask you before it goes anywhere.

We never pass your details to an installer you haven't agreed to, and we never sell them.

What exactly do they receive?

The installer you agree to gets what you told us on the quote request:

your name, email address and phone number, if you gave one
your borough and postcode
your answers about the house, roof, ownership, bills, battery, plans and timing
anything you added in the notes box

From then on, that installer uses your details under their own privacy notice to arrange a survey and quote. Ask them for it.

Who else handles your request?

These services run the site for us. They only use your details to do that job.

How do you stop contact?

Tell us through the contact form at any time. We'll stop contacting you about your request, and if an installer already has your details, we'll ask them to stop too. You can also tell the installer directly.
